My sewing skills aren't great, but I have a friend to help, so I'm planning on taking on the challenge of trying to make the ball dress. Being that my skills are limited and so is my budget, I was hoping to use a small floral print cotton for the fabric. But when I went to buy the fabric, I made the sad discovery that the pattern seems to absolutely require fabric 52" or more wide, and none of my local stores carry what I want in that width. Do you have any advice as to how to find cotton fabric that wide, or maybe how to modify the process of cutting out/making this pattern so that 45" wide fabric could be used? If you're willing, feel free to email me at starr44145 at yahoo dot com. I look forward to your response! Thanks, and God bless!Elenohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18210045998274255331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6237278258771812379.post-31618834081853743242012-02-24T21:36:36.879-06:002012-02-24T21:36:36.879-06:00Oh I don't know...you might want to hang onto ...Oh I don't know...you might want to hang onto a little girls dress just in case!Robin's Egg Bleuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07940955157144789351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6237278258771812379.post-9845516836436720902012-02-24T16:18:26.320-06:002012-02-24T16:18:26.320-06:00Mmmm, mmm, mmm, that fabric is delicious!
